Sebra is launching a series of activity toys which aim to help toddlers progress in their development. From an early age, healthy and safe baby toys are an important part of children’s life. Baby toys can entertain, stimulate and develop children’s senses – touching, tasting, listening, seeing and reaching out all help to develop and strengthen small children.
In the beginning, infants can only orient themselves at a distance corresponding to ‘breastfeeding distance’, but in just a few weeks, children can recognise sounds and distinguish them from each other, vision improves by the day and the grasping reflex develops and progresses as children evolve more deliberate actions, such as learning to reach out and close and open their hand.
When lying on their stomach, babies can lift their head more and more during the first three months, and their understanding of their surroundings becomes greater and greater. All these developmental stages that take place during children’s first year of life can be supported with good activity toys.
Through playful activities, children learn vital information about their world – for example, the fact that something can overturn or fall down or that something can feel cold, while something else can feel hot, hard or soft. This is learning that gives children an understanding of concepts such as correlations, gravity and what is safe and good.
Multifunctional 2-in-1 activity toy – tilting and stacking toy designed as a little fox.
01 Mirror | 02 Teething rings | 03 Crinkle | 04 Bell | 05 Flaps
Sparky the fox is amazing when it comes to supporting fine and gross motor skills. The toy consists of six parts – a wooden base with a flexible rod, four stacking rings with different textures to be examined, and a top with a bell, which is shaped like the fox’s head.
Give the tilting toy a little push and watch its funny moves. Small children will love stacking the rings, then removing them… over and over again. The activity toy has two teething rings made from a plastic material which is, of course, free from BPA, phthalates, PFOA, PFOS and formamide, in addition to a safe baby activity mirror on top of the largest ring and crackle paper in the fox’s tail.

Cute and fun activity toy shaped like Blinky the owl with a large baby-safe mirror, teething rings and elements that can be examined and explored. Blinky comes in the colour maple beige and belongs to Sebra Interior’s Woodland collection.
01 Flaps | 02 Rattle | 03 Mirror | 04 Squeaker | 05 Crinkle | 06 Teething rings
Put the mirror on the floor so your baby can get to know themselves. The floor mirror stimulates children’s curiosity and allows them to explore their own facial expressions and movements, which is guaranteed to bring plenty of smiles and laughs.
Blinky has two teething rings that look like its legs, and activity toys are hidden under the wings. From one wing, a small ladybird with a rattle emerges from a pocket, and on the other wing is an appliqué acorn and a leaf that protrudes from it.
Blinky’s wings can be closed in front of the mirror using a small Velcro fastening, allowing children to play peekaboo and appear and disappear in the mirror. On its head and back Blinky has small cuddle flaps, and a heavy base allows the owl to sit up straight.
