Collection of personal data

You will always be informed in connection with the collection of personal data about you when you visit www.sebra.dk / www.sebra-interior.com / www.sebra-interior.de (hereinafter websites).

The personal data we collect may include, for example, your name, e-mail address, home address, telephone number and similar identifying information, information about an online purchase and information about your navigation on the website.

It will always be stated in connection with providing information whether the provision of information is voluntary or is necessary for the fulfilment of the desired action, for example, the completion of a transaction in our webshop.

The use of personal data

The purpose of the collection is to optimise the user experience and the functions on the website, and we use the information to target our marketing on various channels, such as Google and Instagram. This helps us to show you the most relevant content. The lawful basis for processing personal data is the EU GDPR (European Union General Data Protection Regulation) Article 6(1)(f).

When you purchase a product or communicate with us on or through the website, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment method, information about the products you purchase and any products you have returned, delivery requests, and information about the IP address from which the order was placed.

The processing of orders and agreements with our agents, distributors and other partners may in some cases involve processing personal data. Newsletters

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect personal data in order to send you exclusive benefits, offers, product advice, competitions and news within our product range via newsletters, e-mail, phone, Text message, social media, app notifications or communicative apps. The lawful basis for processing personal data is the EU GDPR (European Union General Data Protection Regulation) Article 6(1)(f).

 

Recipients of personal data

Information about your name, address, e-mail, telephone number, order number and specific delivery requests will be disclosed to the carrier responsible for delivering the purchased goods to you. In the case of purchases of non-stock items, this information may be disclosed to the manufacturer or seller of the item in question, who will then organise the delivery.

Data may be transferred to external partners who process the data on our behalf. We use external partners to, among other things, manage the technical operation of and improve our website, issue newsletters and target marketing, including retargeting and for your evaluation of our company and products.

These companies are data processors and are under our instructions, and they process data for which we are the data controller. The data processors may not use the data for purposes other than the fulfilment of the ​the agreement with us and are subject to confidentiality in this regard. We have written data processing agreements with all data processors that process personal data on our behalf.

Two of these data processors, Google Analytics owned by / Google LLC and Facebook Inc. are established in the United States. The necessary safeguards for the transfer of data to the United States are ensured through the certification of the data processor under the EU-US Privacy Shield, cf. EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 45.

Deleting personal data

With regard to the data collected about your use of the website, cf. what data is collected, we delete this when it is no longer relevant to us.

Data is collected when you subscribe to our newsletter and deleted once you have withdrawn your consent to receive the newsletter unless there is another basis for processing the data.

With regard to data collected in connection with the purchases you have made through the website, cf. What data is collected, we will generally delete this three years after the end of ​the calendar year in which you made your purchase. However, data may be stored for longer if we have a legitimate need for longer storage, for example, if it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim or if storage is necessary for compliance with legal requirements. Accounting records are kept for five years until the end of ​a calendar year to fulfil the requirements for the financial year.
